WIEGAND is a Synthpop/Darkwave band from Pulheim near Cologne, consisting of Helge Wiegand (songwriting, production and vocals) and Jens Domgörgen (live support, social media and booking).

Helge is known, among other things, as a band member of T.O.Y. and occasionally performs as a keyboardist for DIORAMA, while Jens has been a long-time host at major scene festivals such as the Amphi Festival.

WIEGAND's songs are melodic, dreamy, danceable, and come with a high catchiness and sing-along guarantee.

The band released their debut album "Released" in 2018, featuring the single "Floating Away", with remixes by Frozen Plasma, Mental Discipline, and T.O.Y. In 2020, they followed up with the single "Get Informed".
WIEGAND has also contributed remixes for Solitary Experiments ("Every Now and Then") and Mental Discipline ("Empty").

In spring 2023, the single "Pied Pipers" was released, featuring club remixes by Rob Dust, Mental Discipline, and Brigade Enzephalon as a preview for the long-awaited second album "Arrived". The album was subsequently released digitally on all major platforms and, for the first time, also as a limited edition DigiPak audio CD. It topped the GEWC charts for three consecutive weeks.

Over the past two years, WIEGAND has steadily expanded their live presence and has become a solid fixture in the synthpop scene, with performances at Amphi Festival 2023, as tour support for Peter Heppner’s 2025 Germany tour, and upcoming appearances at additional festivals including Black Lower Castle Festival and NCN 2025.
